Peruvian Pearls...
Our adventure with alpacas all started with our parents. Over ten years ago, mom and dad got into the alpaca industry and since have become successful breeders with their huacaya herd. Their specialization is in white full Peruvian huacayas with strong Accoyo genetics. The fleece produced by these wonderful white animals is a fiber fanatic's dream. So, in continuing with the family business we decided to jump into the industry and establish our own herd. Keeping separate from our parents, we chose to breed white and light suri alpacas that are full Peruvian with Accoyo genetics. Since starting out in 2004 with a single juvenile female, we have grown to a small herd of 15.Our breeding efforts have produced a herd of suri alpacas that come from strong genetic backgrounds, are conformationally sound, stand on strong frames, and have dense, tight lustrous locks. They are winners in both our eyes and in the show circuits.

Heather
recently graduated from Philadelphia University with a degree Textile Engineering
Technology. Since graduating from college, Heather has attended AOBA's Fiber
Clinic for apprentice fleece judging and is currently working on becoming an
AOBA certified fleece judge. Heather will be relocating in May to the
Chicago area to pursue a career with Medline Industries.
Christina
Christy
graduated from the United States Air Force Academy in 2003 with a Bachelor's
of Science in Biology. After her Academy graduation she went on to pilot
training. August, 2005 she received her Air
Force and Naval aviator "Wings" and began her career as a
pilot for the US Air Force. She is
currently stationed in West Hampton, NY where she is a special operations
C-130 pilot.
