What
started out as a holiday tradition grew into something deep and dear to our
hearts. In keeping the spirit of family and success alive we are eager to
share the story behind the name.

Every
year for Christmas one of our uncles gave each of the girls in our family a
tiny box with a pearl inside. Over the years these pearls came in different
sizes but always the finest of quality. Finally, after our 17th and 18th pearl
we would be young women about to graduate from high school and step into the
real world. The many tiny boxes were then taken to the jewelers and strung on
a delicate gold chain. The necklace was then worn for graduation; as a symbol
of our passage into adulthood. Each pearl represents a year of our past and
how each moment of our lives feeds into our beautiful future successes.
With
the support of our family my sister and I have grown to be very ambitious and
successful in our own lives. The uniqueness of the holiday tradition started
by one of our family members was very similar to the rarity of the suri alpaca
amongst the industry. When researching and studying this breed the long silky
locks covering the necks and legs of these animals reminded us of strands of
beautiful pearls and thus we knew "pearls" were to be a part of our
future successes one way or another.
